At all times, NAV will fully observe the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in collecting, maintaining and using the personal data of customers. A customer's personal data is classified as confidential and can only be disclosed by us where permitted by the consent of the customer, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance or situations where NAV is otherwise legally compelled to do so.

During each visit to our Website, our Web server will record the visitor's IP address, which is a standard procedure for any webserver. We also collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, or who wish to join our mailing lists. We retain information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as application and survey information. This information will never be revealed to a third party except in aggregate form (i.e. as anonymous statistics such as "55% of our visitors are male.")

The information we collect is used to:

  • Improve the content of our Web for your future visits.
  • Customize the content and/or layout of our pages for each individual consumer.

NAV and its affiliated companies and representatives are committed to respecting the privacy of your personal information. We will not be responsible for any damages you or others may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of any such information.
